50 Thousand Mangroves Planted in Harapan Island

Seribu Islands Regency is welcoming 50 thousand mangroves planting on the south side of Harapan Island. Those are planted on 10 hectares land.
Hopefully mangrove icon can be made for tourism destination and education
Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Murta'a said, thousands mangroves planting is a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs from one company. His side really supports this action since it provides benefit to people's life, from ecology, economy, and social.
"This becomes a part of public empowerment in order to conserve and maintain the environment. Hopefully mangrove icon can be made for tourism destination and education," he said, Wednesday (10/11).

"This is Corporate Social Responsibility's role as public empowerment program. Around 310 thousand mangrove have been planted until now in 2017," he closed.
